“Congratulations for the hard work that propelled you to be admitted into this prestigious University,” said the Vice-Chancellor. “Your arrival signals the assurance of continuity of the University. You have now become members of UON family and we are happy that you have chosen to join us.”

Disability friendly is making an environment conducive for persons with disabilities. There are different ways in which we can make the University environment conducive for people with disability. In order to achieve this, the University would need to make some alterations and changes to the physical features to accommodate staff with disability. For example if there are any physical features that put the disabled people with disabilities at a disadvantage, they must be adjusted to reduce the impact of the barrier.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama announced that he has asked the Senate to review cases of suspended students with a view of readmitting them and review cases of expelled students and consider reinstatement.
