PROF. ISAAC MBECHE RETIRES

With effect from March 21, 2020, Prof. Isaac Meroka Mbeche, who has been the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Finance Planning and Development) and Professor of Management Science at the School of Business has retired.

Prof. Mbeche had proceeded on annual leave on January, 2020.  During that time, Prof. Madara Ogot, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (RIE) has been Ag. Deputy Vice Chancellor (FPD).  He continues to discharge the duties of that office.

Professor Mbeche has held other position of:

  • Deputy Vice-Chancellor Students Affairs
  • Principal College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof.  S.G. Kiama thanked Professor Mbeche for the good service he had rendered to the University and wished him a happy life in retirement.

Therefore, the post of Deputy Vice Chancellor (FPD) is now vacant.
