Olympic Champions Train University of Nairobi Handball Team

The University of Nairobi handball team was trained on handball defense, attack and scoring skills by World Olympic Champions, 2016, Denmark, led by their head-coach, Anders Thomsen.

Denmark has been able to produce world class players by having organized structure which the Kenyan teams lack. They begin by nurturing talents of school going children and developing their talents as they grow up.

The Kenya Little League was established in 2010 and has managed to promote baseball in primary and secondary schools and colleges a well. We are now looking to promoting it in universities.

LAUNCH OF CHINESE LANGUAGE COURSE

On November 23, 2016 A Chinese Language Course was launched at the University of Nairobi for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs staff. 

Conficius Institute at the University of Nairobi also offers free lessons to university staff members.

40,000 LITRES WATER BOWSER

The Deputy Vice Chancellor Commissioning the New Water Bowser in the presence of the Transport Department Staffs and Officers

On Wednesday, December 7, 2016, the Deputy Vice Chancellor Commissioned a New Water Bowser containing 40,000 litres water.

The bowser will produce clean water to staff, students and stakeholders of the University of Nairobi.  Those present were Mr. Orindi, Mr. Peter Muturi, officers and staff of Transport Department.
