The University of Nairobi has added another feather to its icons The University of Nairobi Towers!  The twenty two storey towers was officially handed over to university management by the Contractor, China Wu Yi on December 5, 2016 at a colourful ceremony presided over by Council Chair, Dr. Idle Farah.

Billed as an environmental friendly building, the Lead Consulting Architects, Waweru Gatheca and Associates, disclosed that the towers adopted an inspiring and attractive show case of “green” buildings that has attained signature status in all aspects of cutting-edge architecture.

The 22-storey building shall provide both tuition and administrative space, key among them being the Graduate Business School, the Confucius Institute and a state-of-the-art Chandaria Centre for Performing Arts.

The ground breaking ceremony of the Ksh. 2 Billon towers took place in 2013 with a completion period of three years only, making the project among the few ones to be completed on schedule and within the budget.

The University of Nairobi Towers boasts of a Class “A” Helipad that is certified by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority for both business and emergency use.
